Seth and Kat’s 4 Things You Need To Know-September 21st

Angelina Jolie has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt. There was reportedly no cheating involved (though some claim Pitt was having an affair with co-star Marion Cotillard), just a fight over how Pitt parents the couple’s six children. Jolie is seeking sole physical custody of the kids, with Pitt being granted only visitation. An attorney for Jolie Pitt said the decision to divorce was made “for the health of the family.”

Brad released his own statement saying, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well-being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”Some sources say that Jolie was “fed up” with Pitt’s substance abuse, including pot and booze, combined with anger issues. It is also being reported that they have not been agreeing on their careers. Angelina is supposedly looking to take a step away from Hollywood but Brad wants to keep working.

Last night (September 20th) on Dancing With The Stars, Jake T Austin was the first contestant of the season to be eliminated along with his partner Jenna Johnson. The remaining contestants include Lochte, McCormick, Amber Rose, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds, Calvin Johnson Jr, James Hinchcliffe, Jana Kramer, Laurie Hernandez, Marilu Henner, Rick Perry, Terra Jole, and Vanilla Ice.

Last night, former child star Billy Gilman, who had a hit country song with One Voice at the tender age of 12 years old, made his debut on The Voice with an incredible blind audition singing Adele’s When We Were Young. All four judges turned around so it was up to Billy to pick his coach. While Blake would seem like the natural choice for the singer with his country background, Billy actually ended up choosing Adam Levine.

Disney is getting complaints for its new kids costume depicting a Polynesian character from their latest animated movie, “Moana”. The costume is of a Hawaiian demigod who is voiced by Dwayne Johnson in the film, and features a full brown-skin suit with a rope necklace and “island-style skirt.” Protesters say the costume is appropriating Polynesian culture, and is “brown face for kids.”
