Carrie Underwood Fan Hospitalized After Singing Too Hard During Her Concert

Well, this is a new one. We’ve heard of singing on top of your lungs, but a Carrie Underwood fan recently sang so hard that it warranted a trip to the hospital.

The Storyteller Tour stopped at the Canadian Tire Centre in Ottawa on May 27 according to Taste Of Country. A short time later, a 22-year-old fan named “Bernard” was hospitalized.

“Bern”, who is a HUGE Underwood fan, got to meet the singer before the show, and posted on Twitter about several of his favorite moments from the set.

Later he posted, “Carrie slayed me so hard last Friday my lung collapsed. On my way to the hospital now.”

Carrie noticed the post and personally reached out after hearing of his medical emergency saying “What the what?! I hope you’re alright! It was great to get to see you! Thanks for risking your life to be there!”

Bernard responded that he would do it all over again saying ““Thanks everyone!” he tweeted. “It’s sad, but funny at the same time. I would do it all over again to be honest. #SlayMeCarrie”
